Since we’ve been a bit preoccupied with the redesign of our “mother-ship” NOSF, we didn’t have time to inform the world of what’s going on in our neck of the woods. But we were thinking, if the world’s been patient until now, couple of more weeks won’t hurt. So, now, all the news in one place: we have Zoran “the Vampire Slayer” Krušvar, who’s blogging in English for his Polish publisher, and we have Aleksandar “I’ve been interviewed for SF Signal” Žiljak, who’s published a story in The Apex Book of World SF …
Couple of days ago on the community weblog MetaFilter there was a post about Croatian fairy-tale author Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić (1874-1938), known also as the “Croatian Andersen” or “Croatian Tolkien”. We give our thanks to John DeNardo for making us one of his tidbits, and to Zita Varga for introducing us to the Hungarian fandom. Cheers!
